This is a pipe that is very pleasing to the eye. Long or short, they smoke beautifully and sit comfortably in the hand. Their fantastical appearance appeals to pipers and artists alike.

I wanted to do something special with this piece so I used a third color when staining. The subtle change from black to gold helps accentuate the pipe’s flowing ridges. This shape displays both birdseye grain as well as straight grain. It also fits comfortably in the hand. 

This pipe can only be described as graceful. Somehow the strong, flowing lines remind me of a ballet dancer. This pipe will turn the heads of collectors and enthusiasts whenever you light one up.

Legendary smokers, these long-stemmed pipes can be more difficult to create. Maybe that’s what I find so enticing about making them. Or maybe I just think they look amazing.
